Amorino Gelato

After hearing so many good things about this place, I made time to come here as soon as possible after my busy schedule! The store is next to Ice Cream Lab and Sprinkles Ice Cream, which gives it tough competition.

The store is giant; there's plenty of sitting space inside and outfoor. The line forms at the register, and after you pay, you are then free to choose your ice cream and macaron flavors. We got a chocolate hazelnut gelato macaron that I thought was okay- because the macaron is in the freezer for so long- the macaron is more crunchy. Don't forget to check in for 50 cents off your piccolo cone.

We ordered two piccolo cones (the smallest size) to which we could add as many flavors as we wanted. Literally. Unlimited flavors!!! The guy was telling us a story of how he once had a person choose 24 flavors which resulted in a giant flower. After trying a few of the flavors and deeming them delicious, I decided to just go for it and ordered around 7 flavors including mango and raspberry sorbet, blueberry cheesecake, cinnamon caramel, nutella, stracciatella, tiramisu, and another type of chocolate. Since the guy did not like how the petals turned out as I ordered flavors more than he expected, he made me a brand new one. Service is awesome!!

Not only was presentation beautiful, the taste was amazing! The gelato was so creamy and rich, and I enjoyed each and every bite. Surprisingly, the sorbets actually went really well with the gelato, and I finished everything as quickly as possible. Better hurry before the gelato melts! My favorite flavors were the cinnamon caramel, the nutella, and the stracciatella. So yummy!

With its unique presentation and delicious gelato, Amorino will definitely prosper in Beverly Hills even with so much competition just stores away. I only wish they had a location closer to DTLA, but I can't be picky as this store did open all the way from Milano, Italy!
