Argentinan BBQ

On Easter Sunday, my Korean friend from Argentina decided to make us an amazing meal of Argentinian barbecue. Upon arriving, most of the meat had already been cooked, so we excitedly dug in. She made flank steak, short ribs, hangar steak, blood sausage, italian sausage, and more meat! We had chimichurri sauce and salsa to pair with the meat.  On top of that, we also had sides of salad, Spanish rice, empanadas, cheese tray, and more food. It was amazing!

She has two giant grills in the back that she uses to make the meat, and she explained the process to us. It takes about two hours to work with the fire as they usually cook the meat when the fire starts to die out, and another two hours to slowly cook the meat with the grill closed. By doing so, the meat has a nice, smokey charcoal taste to it which was amazing. That day, she started cooking around 2 pm as dinner was at 5:30 pm. The meats were medium rare at that time, and for the guests who came later, the meat then became more well done.

Last but not least, we had dessert. Pie, cheesecake, donuts, 85 degrees bread.... It was ridiculous the amount of food we ate. Definitely the best BBQ I've been to, hopefully I'll get another invite sometime soon! :p
