Peach & Lily X Caolion #PerfectPores
Peach & Lily is an online Korean and Japanese beauty retailer who curates and sells innovative and cult-favorite products from Asia worldwide! Similar to Memebox, Peach & Lily focus on gentle formulas, unique ingredients, inside out results, and a better value to their customers. They offer products ranging from skin and body care to makeup. They have recently collaborated with Caolion, a brand that uses ultra gentle ingredients to promote the natural beauty and health of the skin. They are famous for their pore packs that work to clear the skin of impurities and leaving the hydration of the skin intact. Instead of subjecting our skin to harsh treatments such as rip off pore strips, Caolion uses wash-off masks that can be left on for 10-15 minutes or overnight.
I was fortunate enough to try their 2 bestsellers and 2 new releases from Caolion. The packaging of the products were high quality and durable, and I really liked how simple everything was to use! I received three different types of pore masks to try, as well as a foam cleanser to wash my face with. Each of the pore masks also comes with a tool to scoop the mask out of the bottle which was cute!
The first step of the process is to rejuvenate your skin with a proper deep cleanse, and the Freshly Chitosan Foam Cleanser clears up your pores using Jeju mandarin oil and antioxidants to balance your skin's pH.
After I washed my face, I tried the Premium Blackhead Steam Pore Pack. This pore mask is a charcoal micro oxygen bubble mask that is great for all skin types including sensitive skin. The oxygen bubbles are able to deep clean your pores, and the natural oat grains retains the moisture in your skin. After applying the charcoal, the mask started to bubble and turn light gray to almost white within minutes. It sounded like soda bubbles on my skin! After leaving it on for 5-10 additional minutes, I massaged my skin and rinsed off the mask.
The Premium Original Pore Pack was my personal favorite as when I applied it on my skin, it felt super refreshing and cooling. When I was putting on the mask, I could smell and feel the mintiness of the mask, and it left a nice tingling sensation on my skin. This mask is great for tightening and soothing the skin while enhancing the complexion. I love how smooth and light it felt on my skin, and how relaxing it ended up being!
Last but not least, the Pore Tightening Memory Sleeping Mask is perfect to use before going to sleep. This mask helps hydrate and lift your skin as it tightens the pores and enhances elasticity. When asleep, the pack uses a shape memory technology which brightens and tightens your skin when you awake. The mask felt very gel like and was on the more viscous side, and I have yet to try this mask! Will get to it later on and update how it feels!
