Introducing the 2020 Kia Soul

IMG_1369.jpg

As a car enthusiast, I was excited when I received an invitation to attend Kia’s all new 2020 Soul media event! Although I am a fan of smaller, sportier cars, I was pleasantly surprised by the Kia Soul and the specs that came with it. The line seems to attract the more artsy, unique, and creative types of all ages!

After hearing James Bell, the Director of Corporate Communications and Social Media, speak on stage, I learned multiple details that I otherwise would not have expected. The GT line comes equipped with a black interior with red stitching, as well as 18 inch wheels and twin turbos. With the interior, I liked the spaciousness of the cabin, how the start button was at the bottom where the gear lever was, and not next to the wheel. The heads up display was also super cool as it showed the speedometer and the current function that is being used- which was the navigation or radio station for me. The car also comes with a built in modem for television which was unique!

The drive itself was very smooth, I was surprised at how easy it was to navigate around LA! The car also offers lane changing assistance, Harmon Kardon speakers, Forward Collision Avoidance, Blind Spot Warning, and more. We ended up driving the Granada Hills and back, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I’m glad I got to experience the 2020 Kia Soul, and I can’t wait to see what Kia releases next!
